susandennisThat damn lane line is still not fixed at the pool. But, it didn't matter much today. Because I was so much later than usual, I saw all kinds of people I haven't seen in ages. It was fun.
Nails done. They really needed it. They were getting all snaggy and messy looking. No more!
Then on to the fabric shop totally forgetting that on Tuesdays and Thursdays they have a 10% discount for old peops. Not Wednesday. Oh well. Turns out that careful selection kept my total under $30 so no big damage.
How's this for some diversity in skin color??!!
I really do appreciate the ideas and suggestions left in comments. I would have never considered purple or a face but now I'm really into it!
One funny thought I had during my swim/thinking hour. I was wallowing in Jeannie's note and all of the suggestions and ideas and I realized where/when I had had the good feelings that were the result. It was while I was still working - in performance evaluations. I loved those meetings. I loved hearing about how management thought I was doing and getting a charge/challenge for the future. Retirement brought a vacuum that it took me a long long time to get used to because it had no such measurement/projections.
What fun to get them back.
The baseball game is on TV and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. I think I'll get some new faces cut out and created while I watch.
