Biting the bullet
Mar. 10th, 2016 12:57 pmSo my machine will cost $175 to send it to the techs to fix. I paid $125 for it. The very nice - I mean really really nice - sewing machine store lady suggested I take it home and sew with it until it dies. Which may be sooner than later.
I looked around at other machines on my own and finally asked her to tell me about one that would be good for me. (I appreciated her not defaulting immediately to my spending money.) She showed me a couple of options and gave me her card. I came home and made a doll and realized that buying a new machine is probably the best idea.
