Sunday bits
Oct. 30th, 2005 08:35 amSo... my magic clock decided that although it's perfectly ok with telling me that today is October 30, it's not ready to concede daylight savings time. Brute force will be needed. My VCR/DVD player who's clock I cannot see easily anyway and don't even need since I don't use it to record, changed automagically but also lost 24 minutes. Poor thing.
My laptop will be ready on Monday and then I can figure out what's the best way long term and I'm thinking that maybe the best way long term may well be variety. Sometimes at the desk, sometimes in the green swivel chair, sometimes on the chaise, etc. Maybe.

Date: 2005-10-30 05:16 pm (UTC)Are you grinding your teeth? (Stress from new job, what to do with 20 pounds of teddy-bear filling, and massive clock resetting?) There's a thick plastic thingie your dentist can make for you (may not be covered by insurance) called a "Night Guard." It essentially provides a buffer between your teeth so any grinding doesn't do damage or cause pain.

Date: 2005-10-30 05:24 pm (UTC)And while my initial thought is, no... wrong tooth, how the heck do I know... I'm asleep! Hmmmm something to think about. It is interesting, now that you mention it, that I don't remember the ache except just after I wake up. I sure like grinding better than cracked tooth or some other cause that would necessitate many hours of dental pain to fix.
