So... my magic clock decided that although it's perfectly ok with telling me that today is October 30, it's not ready to concede daylight savings time.  Brute force will be needed.   My VCR/DVD player who's clock I cannot see easily anyway and don't even need since I don't use it to record, changed automagically but also lost 24 minutes.   Poor thing.

I am getting increasingly concerned about a tooth.  Two nights now I have woken up in the middle of the night to a tooth ache.  Not ache enough to wake me up but ache enough to be one of the few things I am conscience of when I wake up a little.  This morning it was also aching a little.  I can handle a little ache but my fear is that this is the pre-announcement of You Can't Wait Until December For The Dentist which would be a precursor to some major pain with muching interuptos.  Yuck.

And I have ergo issues.  My desk/chair/keyboard/monitor or some combo thereof are just not right.  If I'm going to work here, I can't do it this way.  My back is killing me, my shoulders are killing me and I can't see.   I've switched from my contact to glasses but that's a pain in the nose bridge.

My laptop will be ready on Monday and then I can figure out what's the best way long term and I'm thinking that maybe the best way long term may well be variety.  Sometimes at the desk, sometimes in the green swivel chair, sometimes on the chaise, etc.  Maybe.

Meanwhile on today's list is desk org.  A couple of weeks ago I moved my printer to down below the desk but that's turning out to be way not convenient.  So back up here it goes and that means moving other stuff.  I am not a true minimalist. I can handle stuff on the desk.  But, it cannot be cluttered.  So that's today's job.

I do love the planter box fix I did yesterday.  It's so nice to look out there and see no dead plants and no plant droppings.

I think I'll get some breakfast and then get to work!

Are you grinding your teeth? (Stress from new job, what to do with 20 pounds of teddy-bear filling, and massive clock resetting?) There's a thick plastic thingie your dentist can make for you (may not be covered by insurance) called a "Night Guard." It essentially provides a buffer between your teeth so any grinding doesn't do damage or cause pain.
