Where's my fucking crown?

susandennisI did it. My desk is now organized. And for the first time since January when the redecorating began, every single piece of paper is filed in a properly marked (Martha would be proud) file folder in the file drawer.
I'm so organized that when I found my absentee ballot, instead of putting 'vote' on one of my lists, I just pulled out the pen, voted, put a stamp on it and put it on the pile with the other stuff that has to be done tomorrow:
1. Library - take one back, pick up a hold
2. Mail ballot
3. Go by new office pick up laptop (yeah!) and drop off benefits forms
The printer is back on top of the desk. Easy access. I reordered the covered cabinets so that only the essential stuff is there and in order - all of the envelopes are in one place instead of 4. It is all organized. I am a happy camper.
The laundry is done.
As my Mom says usually after she's finished complaining about 23 different little annoyances at 'the home', "but I'm sure glad I'm here."
