Ok, no more swimming for you...

susandennisAt least on Tuesdays and Thursdays until that fucking Viaduct is open again. I left the pool to come home at 11:30 and the traffic was bumper to bumper like there was a 5 car pile up at the end of the backup only there was no end of the backup!! And no accident. It was just normal traffic without the Viaduct. So, the end.
The city pool is too crowded and loud and not open long enough. The other LA Fitness - actually even closer to me - is on the other end of the Viaduct problems. So. I'm done.
There's no law that says I have to swim 7 days a week and skipping 2 won't kill me, I don't think. With any luck the road will be open after next week but I'm not holding my breath.
At least I can still swim on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the morning. And at my regular time at the gym on Saturdays and Sundays. So probably not the end of the world.
I did at least get a very nice non-polish manicure. I walked in off the street to a place next door to Papa Murphy's Pizza. It was quick and cheap and now my nails and cuticles no longer look like they were chewed by rats. I will absolutely go there again once the traffic disaster is over.
Now I think i'm just going to chill and get over myself. Maybe make a doll.
