Ready for the hot

Two years ago, I switched out my old air conditioner for a new one and I forgot until today how much smaller and lighter it is than the old one. Setting it up is really a good 10 minute job instead of the hour of stress that it used to be. I don't like marring my living room with it all Summer but I'm very happy to trade that annoyance in for cool. So, now I'm totally ready.

I've kept track of all the dates of A/C set up and put away over the years:



Before I got started and the tv wasn't on yet, I kept hearing this rain outside but it wasn't raining. When I went out to get the air conditioner, I discovered it was raining on my terrace but nowhere else. The terrace above is leaking. Nice. I called the guy. No answer. I called the weekend number of the management company and left a message. Then I sent an email to the guy upstairs, the building manager and the HOA president. I don't think the ceiling is going to fall in but if it does, I sure don't want anyone saying it was due to my neglecting to report.

I love the bright, layered colors in your house. It looks like such a cheery, comfortable place to be!

Thank you! It is, indeed, very cheerful and comfortable. I love it. I spent the first dozen years here with builder white walls and taupe carpet. And then I cut loose. Loose is way way better :)

We have used our AC 3 times already...with more mid 80s expected this week. TOO SOON.
