Christmas shopping

susandennisToday I finalized the choices for the corporate Christmas holiday gifts for employees and for customers/partners/friends. And I narrowed the holiday card selection down to five designs and 3 messages (for inside the cards). Monday I meet with the Finance/HR guy to get approval on the presents and Tuesday I meet with the CEO to get approval on the cards and if I'm lucky they will 'buy' what I'm selling and I can order it all and be done with it.
I am not a Christmas person. I do little shopping and no decorating and generally use the holidays to just be with me and enjoy. So I am the very wrong person to be doing all this for the company. But, my manager should have considered that before she went and got herself knocked up.
Anyway, since it's all been looming over my head for weeks and I've now got it organized and ready, I feel very accomplished and decided to leave early which I did. Being the boss of me does have its rewards.
Now I think I'm going to veg out on the couch and watch some of the TV I recorded this week. Once again I missed the pilot episode of John Doe but I think I got the rest of the shows I wanted all on TIVO or tape.
