Last July I found the folding t-shirt link and we had a bit of a discussion about how to fold fitted sheets...

But today tops all of that.  My neighbors who are the go-betweens who get my teddy bears delivered and return nice tax documents to me, called the other day and in passing I mentioned I was running low on plastic bags.  The one I was talking to said 'oh we have plenty, I'll bring you some.'  I had visions of a bag of bags and more worries about where to store the things.

But I worry no more.  This is hilarious!!  These bags are neatly folded into tiny tidy little triangles!!!  Have you ever seen this before?  It's like origami for grocery bags!!

So of course I ran to Google to clear up the mystery and discovered that the BBC explains how to do it!  Oh those cratfy Brits.  Anyway, their step by step works perfectly.  I'm amazed.  Just amazed.  And, if you need me... I'll be folding up the innards of my big bag of bags that are stuffed into it.

Holey moley - you think Martha knows about this???

That's very similar to the appropriate way to fold an American flag, (though I never thought of doing that to plastic bags...)

My mom's next clutter-war project is going to be folding up the plastic bags that she's certain she will need some day.

That's a great tip!

Miss Susan, I don't know what to say about you. I don't mind it one bit that you are turning me on to this but, I'm sure somebody's gonna be whispering things about you behind your back, such as: who reads instructions on how to fold a freaking bag!? Of course, I'm one that actually reads the instructions on new items I buy. Sometimes they are really helpful! I will say that I do fold most of my bags but, not in triangles. :-)

I could never get the T-shirt thing to work, unfortunatly I must be a dunce.
The bag thing looks neat.
Leah is using all of our bags to knit a bag to hold plastic bags.
