Hard losses

The Mariners have lost their last 9 games and only one of those losses was deserved. Several were extra innings. I'm used to the Mariners losing because they suck. The other team has the bases loaded and the Mariners walk in runs. Infielders bobble balls. Outfielders napping on the job. But these 9 losses were none of that. Time and time again, they got out of serious jams. They came from behind. They got runs. They tried hard. And, still, they lost. It's actually a lot easier to be a fan when they lose because they suck.

So :(. On the up side, we're having the nicest little afternoon shower.

I made another shirt. And I made another doll. Yesterday was pink and today is green!

My niece and her husband are overnighting in Seattle. I spoke with her when they were driving up from Portland this afternoon. I told her not to worry about a little rain and just enjoy the respite from the 99 degree temps here.

They will likely not see a drop of rain... And may think it's too cold!! But, they will absolutely know they are not in Texas :)

In the course of this week's four-game series between the Red Sox and the White Sox, there were two 10-inning games that neither team really deserved to win. (They split them. The Red Sox won the game we attended, because that's what they do.)

Good points. In the Seattle/Detroit series, both teams deserved to win both games. I feel like we just drew the short straw...
