The traffic coming back from the pool today was missing! Could it be we are over the back-to-school hump? I may try going a little earlier tomorrow to test.

My arms and shoulders are tired. Not really sore but more tired. It's weird. I got through the swim ok. Seems to me that flapping my arms for an hour every single day would make them a little used to work and not tired. Maybe I slept on them wrong or something.

I have backed up sewing projects. I have a shirt all cut out and ready for assembly. I have a new pattern for winter Croc liners that I want to make up. And dolls. I need more dolls! The dolls thing is kind of silly. I have a plenty done. More would be better but there's no quota to fill. So maybe liners first, then a doll or two and then shirt or shirt before dolls.

Being retired and totally in charge of yourself and your time is not as easy as one might think!!

I need tortillas. So probably a trip to Grocery Outlet (cheapest and closest) is in the cards sometime today. No stadium events so I can go whenever I like.

The big issue for the week is the Google announcements tomorrow. It's going to be very tempting. I need to try and not order stuff I don't need. But, I know it's going to be a struggle.

I watched episode 2 of Designated Survivor. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a fail but I think I'll give it one more episode.

But, now, I'm off to sew!

The husband has been watching Designated Survivor, and so I've gotten some of it by osmosis. The most fun for us, living in DC, has been pointing out all the problems with various shots. Like why is the FBI meeting in the FAA building? Why is the Capitol building facing the wrong direction? Why is the Washington Monument roughly where the FBI building should be? ;) It's almost as much fun as watching NCIS, which similarly films somewhere out in California and so features landscapes that look nothing like this area.

We caught up on episode 1 and 2 on demand last night. Pretty good so far but I don't know if it'll be a winner in the long term.
