An unexpected blow job

When I quit watching the news on TV, I also eliminated weather forecasting from my life. I see what is planned weather wise when I remember to look but I forget to look this time of year because I know it's not going to be too hot and I can easily handle anything else.

So, that's why I did not see today's wind coming. It's been really really blowing all day. Weird around here to have such wind without rain but the sun's been out all day so sunny wind. The tree that is blocking my view with its ugly leaves now has even uglier leaves as they are brownish and all curled up. They are falling off. Yeah. Not fast enough but at least I'm getting a little better view every day.

I was done with baseball but I gotta admit this series looks like it might be interesting so I told TiVo to record at least game 1. We'll see.

I got some nice sewing done today.





And I got the Flickr doll album caught up so that now all the dolls are in there.

I have to admit the title to your journal was eye catching.

We had our blow job last week (70 mph wind gusts) it was fairly exciting - the climax included downed trees, signs, light poles and power outages. A tree fell on our chainlink fence bending it but not destroying it.

Love the dolls especially the ones with glasses. Super cute.

Whew 70 mph is QUITE the blow job! I've lived here in Seattle for 25 years and I'm still not used to the wind storms out here but as I live downtown, we don't see many in the 70 mph scale.

Hey, thanks for the link to the intro post--- I hadn't gone that many days back into your lj yet. Reading the bio highlights thing on you is finding out you've really gotten around! Sometimes I think how many lives I've lead and it seems like a lot. Bet you feel that way sometimes too.

I usually check the weather forecast every day and sometimes several times a day even though I'm more of an indoor person. I just like to know when we're having higher or lower than usual temperatures or rainfall. I think it's a holdover from my childhood on a farm.

My new phone comes with weather front and center by default. Maybe that will help me remember to check it.
