There was a piece of the AIDS quilt hanging in the cafeteria at my girls' school today! I started to explain what it was (they are 5), but there's only so much you can get in in 5 minutes before class. I'll try to do better this afternoon.

Thank you for remembering this every year. I think it's easy for us to forget that you lived through when this was a death sentence, full stop, no matter who you were or where you lived.

It was those times that I remember today. Today is so much better. But the cure... that's going to be the winner :)
