Everything on my list. Whew. The new computer is really fun to play with. It's so snappy! I got the gmail backup weekly auto run fixed and working. LJ Archive is loaded on the new computer and all up to date. I figured out how to maintain the cross network access to files and folders from one computer to the other without having to use a password to log in. I'm quite pleased with that one. The cams all seem to be running fine and accessible. My old USB keyboard is not behaving properly. It cost me $10 about 10 years ago so I think it's done its time. So I ordered a new, bluetooth one.
I put everything away, boxed up an Amazon return, made a doll and now I'm going to sit and knit and watch TV. From the sounds of things, it does not appear as if the Seahawks are winning... it's quite quiet over there.

I have a personal question if I may... We're traveling to Seattle in May and will be staying two nights before leaving on a cruise to Alaska. Where should we stay that will be affordable? Any ideas would be very very welcome.
Merry Christmas!!

Date: 2016-12-26 01:16 am (UTC)Your cruise sounds amazing. Sadly, I've only spent two nights in a hotel in Seattle and they were 25 years ago and not on my dime so I have no idea how much they cost.
I am so sorry. I might be able to help if you have questions about specific places - like how to get from x to y or if staying at this hotel makes sense for getting to this other place.
I'm so sorry. I just asked my friends from New Zealand - they visit every other year - but he said they haven't found a favorite hotel and points out it depends entirely what you want to do and where your ship will leave from (there are three different possibilities here in town).
Sorry. Maybe ask where you booked the cruise?

Date: 2016-12-26 01:34 am (UTC)How about an "area" to stay in if we want to see things... what things I don't know yet! LOL

Date: 2016-12-26 01:49 am (UTC)Yeah, I'd kind of need to know what you want to see to know what would be a 'area'. You could stay near the Space Needle and see that stuff or stay downtown where you would be more centrally located. But, again, sadly, I am clueless about what hotels might meet your requirements for affordable.
You really need the advice of a Seattle visitor rather than a Seattle resident :)
You might try reading some of the entries here:

The people there will probably way more helpful than I am :)
