This morning I actually slep until the alarm went off at 6:15.  I got to the gym 15 minutes early and they opened the door 10 minuts early. It just feels like I start the whole day ahead of the game. The pool was not at all crowded. They usually have an aqua fit class at 9 so I think that keeps most Saturday swimmers away from mornings. On my way out, I stopped to ask about Monday. They will be open the regular hours. Last day of no traffic. I really do hope my regular pool is fixed by Tuesday but I'm not going to stress about it. If it is, great. If not, whatever.

I left the gym and was not too far gone when I remembered that I had brought my purse and did not have it now. FUCK. I doubled back to the parking lot, up the stairs, through the gym to the locker room all the time thinking Not again, not again... do not make me have to replace all that shit again... I got to the locker room and there was someone else's lock on the locker... and my purse on the counter. WHEW

On to Trader Joe's where I learned their hollandaise sauce, to which I am now addicted, is seasonal! ARUGH. It has a use by date of February 2, 2017. I got two. I'm going to try and freeze one. I sent a WTF email to TJ's in hopes of changing their mind.

I don't have new years resolutions or need to recap the year or get all freaked out because of Live Journal in Russia or even Trump. I'm just not in with the in crowd. Oh well. Plus I've got a gym that can't fix my pool and a dearth of hollandaise to consume my energies. Important stuff!

I wasn't starving enough to make breakfast and now I'm hungry so I think I'll get a little snack before I head back to the sewing room.

You should freeze it in an ice cube tray so you can use a cube or two at a time instead of having to commit to the whole container once its thawed. Speaking of which, I really should have labeled the last few things I did that to.

Oh -- I can feel the panic in the retracing of your steps to where you left your purse. Been there... My largest fear is losing my driver's license (which is an "enhanced license" which New York state now requires - and to get it requires a lot more proofs of identity than the regular licenses) when I'm out of state -- in Hilton Head for the winter, for example. Last year I left my wallet in the grocery store (I thought -- hope hope hope). Thankfully -- it WAS there.

Those seasonal food items are often the best. They're there -- then they're gone. :( I have a love for the Pumpkin spice coffee creamer which is now on it's way out until next year (I hope). Why not all year???? Fresh Market also has some amazing Christmas coffees that I should quick stock up on.

You know -- I actually looked online to see if you can replace a lost license online, and I think maybe you can do it, although I'm not sure it would be an enhanced license. They are so strict about that and all the proofs you need. I got my original enhanced license in 2010, and it goes until December of 2018 so I'll find out what renewing that will be in less than 2 years. I didn't go deep into the belly of the whale to find out details. Also -- whether they would mail that license to another address - not the one on your license - is questionable, too. I didn't check that, either. This situation would apply if we were living in our snowbird home in SC and lost my NY state license while there. These are questions I really should ask.

As I've probably noted before, I like the way you think.
