We ended up with about an inch... on top of a layer of ice, so even though that's not a lot of snow, we're not going anywhere today. Apparently there are some cars off the road not far from our house (according to the chatter on Nextdoor) and we just have no pressing need to be anywhere, so it's all good.
We tried out our Air Fryer this afternoon for the first time! Aaaand ended up with charcoal onion rings. We tried it again at only half the time recommended by the manual and they were still just slightly overdone, but were at least edible! Definitely going to be some trial and error with this thing, but I'm looking forward to trying all sorts of things (in particular, I've been reading instructions for making Scotch Eggs in it... really can't wait to try that!).
There were several cars with a fair amount of snow on them in the Ballard Blocks parking garage this morning :)
Oh yeah on trial and error. All of the recipes seem to vastly overstate the amount of time needed. I made my share of charcoal the first few days. Scotch Eggs sound AMAZING! I can't wait to hear about your adventures there.
Please share recipe for Scotch Eggs cooked in your air fryer. I can't imagine it, but I like Scotch Eggs done in the oven, so a faster method would be great.
