susandennisThe Seahawks are playing a playoff game across the street this evening at 5:30. The tailgate parties had already started when I left for the pool at 7:30. Their number had tripled by the time I came back home about 10. It's going to be nuts out there so I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here until time to leave for the pool tomorrow.
I think this may be the last Seahawks home game regardless of who wins. That's ok by me.
After the pool, I stopped at the grocery store. I wanted some steaks and chops but their on sale steaks weren't the kind I like and their not on sale steaks were too pricey so... chops it is. And cheesy rice. I haven't done this in a while but I brought in the giant Japanese rice maker from the terrace storage and I'll make a bunch of really good rice and then mix in butter and shredded cheddar. Then I'll pack it into single servings and freeze it. Yum. I sometimes mix in shredded zucchini but I forgot to get any so no veggies this round.
Then it will be doll knitting and TV watching and generally being glad it's too cold to open the door and hear the drunks yelling SEA..... HAWKS, SEA..... HAWKS over and over and over and over again.
