When I came back from my 2nd walk of the day, I found this:

This cat makes me laugh so hard sometimes.

Now I am in the middle of exporting my gmail backup database into a file that Thunderbird can read. I should say hopefully into a file that thunderbird can read. My weekly automated back up of gmail ran today as usual and it occurred to me that having the database is great but what if I can't do anything with it? In the event of disaster, what I want is to be able to see my gmail archives locally, without gmail if necessary. So I've downloaded thunderbird and now am, again hopefully, creating some kind of viable mbox file. This is a test. This is only a test.

Frankly, I hope it's like an umbrella. If you have it with you at the ready, you will never need it. Without it, halfway home you'll run into a downpour.

Meanwhile, here are the dolls made today.

We got two black kittens...siblings one male one female in september 2001. The family where we picked them up told us their birthday was 29th July.
BUffy went missing in May 2005 and we still have Keano. He broke his front leg in two places in May 2015 but he has made a full recovery.

I often question the sanity of cats. They relax in the oddest ways... I mean, how can that possibly be comfortable?

How on earth can a cat be comfy in that position:)

This is a protest sit-in. Zoey want you to stop making people dolls and instead make cat (or mice?) dolls.

Or maybe she's trying to figure out how to make them herself. No, that would be way more work than any cat would dream of doing.

The cat pic is awesome.

Wondering if I'm missing something with the Thunderbird comments. I read my email in Thunderbird mostly (or on the mail app on my phone), but it's always there, once it's downloaded from gmail. (Even without internet.) But is that not what you mean?

Ha! Ok yes IMAP is how I do it. I like that it syncs, so once I've read an email in one place (phone or computer) it shows as read in the other place.

Oh my! How funny is that?! I love it when cats sit on/in silly things.
