Sat, 11:39: Why is it fine to spew snark for Trump & at the same time, call for love? He's lowering the bar for discourse & everybody's fine with that?
I'm not. As my mother would say, it's lowering yourself to his level (references to someone's level may be my mom's ultimate insult). I don't hold out much hope for changing minds with evidence, but anything less than civil discourse is certainly not going to get people to open their minds - even a smidgen - to other possibilities.
I've been deleting twit accounts who insult Trump right and left since the election and soon I will have no more tweets in my feed. To me his ridiculously hateful and stupid rhetoric seems to be mirrored by all who oppose him.
The high road is just empty these days. No traffic at all.
