Mom's IP address is changing about every 10 minutes this morning.  I've never noticed that before.  I had trouble with VPN and have a little bit on her machine that reports her IP address every 5 mins on FollowMeIP.  So, when VNC won't connect - which is, thankfully, rare - I check the IP action.  Today it's all over the map...  Very strange and I hope whatever it is heals immediately.

The carpet cleaning guy was just here wanting to start cleaning.  I told him I had changed my mind.  He was pretty offended even before I told him that I wanted to preserve the scotch guarding which was new.  But, he backed off eventually and went on his merry way.  Thanks countess_shell!  My carpet is clean - especially if you use the ifyoudon'tseedirtit'snotthere rule that I live by.

I started the above entry about 9 a.m. this morning. It is 3 now and this is the first chance to get back to it! 

I can tell this is going to be a work weekend.  Which is fine.
