I am not a lover of kids. I like cute kids and kids who do cute things, but most kids I see and/or interact with are not cute at all. They are loud and not interesting. If they sit or stand and do nothing, they aren't interesting. Most of what they do, however, is frenetic, loud and ridiculous - not in a good way.

But, of course, there are exceptions. And today included one. At the grocery, I was waiting for the elevator to take me down to the garage and my car, when the door opened and a guy came out pushing a cart with a flintstone mobile attached to the front. In it were two same sized small people - a boy and a girl. As I looked down, I could see that the little girl had a little purse and the little purse was stuffed with even littler small animals. She was checking on the purse contents and then slipped the handle around her arm ready for shopping. It was only a moment and it was adorable.

I would have killed to ride in one of those flintstone mobile carts when I was a kid.

My granddaughter (4) was here today.
She cant talk yet.
She teases me. She wont admit to loving grandda or being grandas girl.
But today my wife shouted at her....and as usual she climbed up me like a squirrel climbs a tree and gave me a big hug.
Its so funny.
And so lovely because she will always turn to me when she needs me.

What grocery store is this? I've never seen a grocery store with a garage and an elevator. Just curious!
Those carts with a car attached to the front are great. My son loved pretending to steer them. They are not fun for the parent to actually steer, though. LOL
Isn't it cute when kids emulate the adults!

In densely populated areas, having to squish together parking lot and shopping space becomes necessary. It's not a "Western Washington" thing, but it's definitely a "Seattle" thing.

Ahh, I hadn't even considered how grocery stores work in cities! Good to know.
