Yep, it's raining inside again... This time only by the sliding doors and I caught it before it did too much damage.  I now have an old shower curtain down to keep the carpet dry.  This is getting old.  They are on schedule to finish up the roof project this month. And, the thought is that once they get it finished it will quit raining inside.  But, then, I'm fairly sure the raining inside part wasn't part of their original thoughts.

On the up side, I am home and able to catch the problems early enough to stave off major problems so far.  It's only been inconvenient so far.  At least I'm not going out of town and not having company.

One of the few down sides to this condominium is that I can never hear the rain.  I can sure hear it now!

I have a conference call at 11 and a meeting in Redmond at 3 today.

My Mom's Long Term Care policies require (rightfully) an annual assessment by both her doctor and by the facility where she lives.  The doctor did his and sent it right in.  The woman in charge of Mom's unit is a nice lady.  Mom is quite fond of her.   But she is a very inefficient manager of many things.  (Mom's drugs being a big one but that's a whole other battle.)  She says she filled out the form and mailed it last week.  Her assistant told me he saw it on her desk after she says she mailed it in.  She says that insurance companies 'always lose the forms I send in'.  ??!!  Oh, and she didn't keep a copy because 'I don't have room to store unneeded paperwork.'  She is a lawsuit just waiting to happen.

I had IDS fax her a new form and send her one via postal mail.  Now I have to sit on this and call her and IDS every day until she gets it done.  What a wonderful waste of everyone's time.

You know... if this were snow instead of rain...

lol..you and your snow!

When you live in Minnesota did you at least get some snowstorms then?

Good luck with the snow...just let it be gone the week I am in town.

You should be careful about mocking mosquitos. You do know that they are Minnesota's state bird, didn't you?

I agree: I enjoyed the winters, but the summers were unberable.

We'll truck over some snow from Wisconsin in a jiffy. There's enough to make you very happy.
