Swimming was back to normal today. The regulars were there and so was my swimming mojo. I'm listening to a book about the First Ladies since Jackie Kennedy. It's fairly interesting - enough to keep me swimming.

My new sim card arrives today. I'll be switching from T-Mobil to Google's Project Fi. Here's hoping for smooth sailing. I'm interested to see it in operation.

I did not wash dishes or clean the kitchen before I went to bed last night. And it is a mess. I need to tackle it before I do else today. Which is why I have not started doing anything else today.

The whacko woman down the hall and her decidedly unwhacko architect husband have put their condo on the market. It's one of the smaller ones but with some nice finishes. I really like how they did their kitchen. This building is divided in half. The east side units (my side) all have a full bath and a half bath. The west side units don't have the half bath but do have large walk in closets. While I love my half bath, I do lust after their closets.

I also love that their realtor snapped the pictures on the snow day and then took extras of the snow in the neighborhood. Really pretty.

I watched the Good Fight last night and know, I'd enjoy the rest of it if I didn't have to pay CBS to watch it. I'm really enjoying a new silly sit com called Superior Donuts and, of course, Imposters. I watched the pilot of Doubt and think it could go either way. But soon baseball will eclipse all of it and take over the TV most nights.

Time to get to the chores.

That is a nice neighborhood! It seems really expensive to me, since I am on the east side, but I guess that is what you need to pay in the middle of Seattle.

Yeah, center city Seattle is pretty pricey these days. I was actually surprised that they didn't have a higher asking price. The one down the hall (same side - so walk in w/ no half bath) is only 300 sq. ft bigger but has no upgraded kitchen or closet built ins and is asking $520 - $45,000 more. It will be interesting to see how long they both stay on the market.

It's a bargain by Toronto standards, given the square footage. I've never seen a 1-bedroom that big here in Toronto -- average size for a 1-bdrm here is typically under 600 square feet (often well under that). Hell, 2-bdrm units are rarely over 800 square feet.

I hope the phone switch goes well. I need to think about a new phone one of these days, mine has been acting up a little.

Their condo is nice. Do the condos there sell pretty quickly? You were right about those closets!

I read a headline the other day (did NOT read the article and could have been a lying rag :) but...) saying that Toronto and Seattle are the hot North America real estate areas these days.

I like their place but I can't afford it. I googled the exchange and it is £380,000 and I don't think I could get more than £230,000 for my 3 bedroom victorian stone cottage with garden and garage ;0)

Same here. "Good, but not unmissable" is how I described it elsewhere, and I don't feel like being manipulated into paying CBS. (I did note that I might change my mind if they promise to kill off David Lee.)

YES! What a great idea. If they kill off David Lee, I will pay. We need a campaign.

I really have a hard time with Katherine Heigel. I'm sure she's a lovely person but she plays the same person over and over again and I'm weary... but, we shall see.
