I slept particularly well last night. Always so nice. And I swam particularly well this morning. I got there a little earlier than usual. There's a woman who's been coming pretty regularly on a M/W/F schedule. She stays about an hour and swims really slowly with lots of breaks and variations. (I should take breaks and use different strokes/speeds but I don't.) Today, we kind of got on the same rotation and I was able to measure my speed against hers. Turns out her 'slow' swim is actually faster than my fast one. Ooops. Ha. Doesn't matter but it does amuse me. I'm a champion swimmer in my mind... only.

The house cleaner comes today and I need to disappear. I had a plan but it didn't work out so now I have a new one. I think I'm going to make a Goodwill run - drop off and then go look around some with the goal of spending as little money as possible. I think I can do it.

I'm dreaming up a new sewing project in my brain. I tried out a piece of it yesterday and while in my brain it was genius, in execution it was a total fail. So today, I have a new version peculating with a new way to test. I'm hopeful.

I also got all the tax stuff figured out and planned out. I had the CPA set up auto withdrawals for the 2016 payment and then for the 4 2017 estimated payments. And then set up calendar reminders to make sure there was enough $$ in that account for each instance. I think I'm good now and next year I'll be in far better shape tax wise. I am so grateful for both my financial adviser and my CPA. I'd be a bag lady on the streets without them.

Time now to get off my arse and get on with my day.

Thank you! That's all very helpful. I need one and I started asking around for recs last year, but I stopped after a couple of people didn't know anyone. I'll ask at my bank.

You're a champion swimmer in my mind, too. :P I panic if water touches my face, lol.

My tax stuff was ridiculously easy. Ten minutes on TurboTax.ca and it was done. Mine is so simple I can use the free version and just fill in my name, address, etc. plus my income [~$9,800 for 2016] and then it's done. I'm so poor I never owe anything and always get a return, too.

Your swimming amazes me. I'm a terrible swimmer, but I'm okay with that. lol

I'm glad you got all your taxes figured out. I have a financial adviser through my office I have to use for my 401(k) and I can't stand her. I'll spare you the reasons. I really should get my own but it's not something I think about very often.

Financial advising - definitely something that I need to do. I am thinking actually that Bankruptcy might not actually be the worst idea for my situation right now. But financial adviser first.

And we will totally be scoping out the Goodwill for your stuff. Did you donate any bears? :D
