Gratefully cool

It is the 6th of June and not only have I not had my air conditioner on once so far this year, the forecast says it will be at least next week before I'll need to even think about it. This is a total amazing win in my book. I know it will get hot but I'm absolutely fine with delaying it as long as possible.

I feel like I should get out and do something today and that's also exactly where my motivation ends - feeling like it, not doing it. Tomorrow is house cleaner day so i think I'll postpone my 'getting out' until then. But, it's early yet. I could get inspired around lunch time. I've really got no lunch fodder in the house.

Today's project is another bag, probably. Or another swimsuit. Who knows? I have now, a healthy stash of different kinds of fabrics so I may get back to the sewing room and take a completely different turn.

I do appreciate profoundly, the freedom and opportunity to just do what I want to do when I want to do it. This never gets old and I don't want to ever take it for granted.

So now I think I'll get on with it.

We have our air conditioners set up and use the one downstairs a lot for comfort. Most nights, I could go without the one in my bedroom if it wasn't for the fact that kids across the street and next door are still loudly playing when I go to bed and I need it to drown out their noise. They're aren't up unreasonably late, I just go to bed too early.
