I'm talking the TV show here. [livejournal.com profile] estis first mentioned it a couple of weeks ago and I had never heard of it. I found it on the Science Channel and I am so totally hooked!!! If this guy had been in my schools I might have been even interested in science and history! What a great show! Thanks for the tip.

A great show. Was just checking out amazon.com...they have it in 3 volumes (5 tapes each...VHS only) for 99.95 each. but if you buy, for example, vol 2 and 3 together you get a "great buy" and pay only 199.90...which by my basic math skills works out to a savings of 0 for the "great buy".

I saw that show years ago and got totally addicted! Yay that it's back. I'm going to look for it on my local channels.

One of my high school teachers used to show us those, they're great. James Burke also has a few books out, one called Connections. The layout is hard to explain, but there are marginal notations leading the reader to connections elsewhere in the book... very cool.
