This weekend's pix were not the best choices....

Strange Bedfellows  I can't fathom what made me add Crocodile Dundee Pretends to Be Gay to the list. It was a bit better than it should have been but not much.  At least I did watch it to the end.

Broken Flowers  I also watched this to the end because I kept hoping it was going to go somewhere.  I think I could just sum it up with WTF?

I'm probably not smart or saavy enough to grasp the deeper meaning of Broken Flower (or really give a shit) but, I'm also not smart or saavy enough to think Strange Bedfellows was totally a waste.  So I guess I came out even.

I saw Broken Flowers in the theatre and came to the conclusion that everyone who keeps saying Bill Murray gets more brilliant as an actor with age is smoking crack. He plays the same person, every time. I really liked the performances of the women in that movie, but ultimately I came to essentially the same conclusion that you did on that one.

Maybe they those people mean Boring instead of Brilliant... But, it's comforting that someone who actually knows about movies felt the same way about it!

I added "Broken Flowers" to my queue despite my adverse reaction to "Lost in Translation". Since I don't want to risk another WTF movie, "Broken Flowers" has to go. Thanks for the review.

Wise move. I totally forgot that my reaction to Lost in Translation was also WTF. (But, thanks to you, I did add date with Drew to the queue.)

The movie may suck, but your alternate title is awesome.....Crocodile Dundee Pretends to be Gay is the best title in years! ;)

Ps. I leave in just one week for my west coast visit. I really am excited.I will send you my cell phone number via e-mail so we can coordinate. We still have sunday the 22nd arranged?
