I'm pretty sure my sister has left the building for good. I'm waiting until after midnight EST to VPN and rollback to where I rolled back last night. No telling what she did today.

Polly says that Mom went back to the surgeon today and he took out all her staples. Then they went to the regular doctor so he could check her blood levels. Both doctors said she was making great progress and needed to get up and move around and get her strength back. Her main sitter went with them and both doctors told her directly not to pamper Mom.

I asked Polly to make sure she checked in on Mom and got a bit of time with the sitters out of earshot so that Mom could let her know if there was a problem with the sitters. But, everyone says she has the best ones so I think we are good there and so lucky.

I had a fun lunch with Susan and Kenny. We had lots of lots of laughs and some great burgers.

Work is picking up. I have two meetings on Friday. Both meetings, I suspect, will result in my having a list of stuff to do. This will be good.

I got more memory for the laptop. It is now way zippy. And it is now totally backed up onto an external harddrive. And I fixed a problem with the mouse focus.

Tomorrow I'm going to dinner at Kieran's and Alan's.

That is all I know so far. However, I reserve the right to know more later.

I did pass on your thanks again to Dad via Mom over the phone yesterday. And she commented it's easier doing these puzzles on the computer than real jigsaw puzzles. It's easier on old eyes, she said.

And, she's right! Plus I was working one today and once again, had the thought... hmmmm did that cat steal a piece??? she must have... but on the computer, you know she didn't. sigh.
