Ok, well, as I typed this the first pitch is about to be thrown.  [livejournal.com profile] treebreeze and I wandered through the crazies.  The people who did not have blue hair or green faces were so few and far between that they really stuck out.  Also I noted that the crowd was way white.  Percentage wise, our black population is kind of puny on a good day.  But, we have a lot of Asians and a lot of Hispanics but the crowd in my 'hood today is all white.  Interesting.

We did wander by a furniture store in our wanderings and I think I maybe solved the eating problem here in the condo. In the window is a small round glass table that might be just perfect. But, since I've already called in Sheri for the rest, I'll let her solve the eating problem and send her to that store for a possible.

I really with the Seahawks would win.  That many disappointed people could really bring the neighborhood down.

I'm kind of a bit of a pinball here this afternoon.  I have work work I can do but it does not have to be done today - tomorrow is fine.  I have TiVo to watch and a Netflix to watch.

Do those helicopter people know that when they fly low like that, the noise is really annoying and the car alarms make it even worse?

I got an email from Mom today!  The first one since she took the shoulder dive.  She really still only has one arm she can use.  I think she goes back to the surgeon this week to see about getting it off.  [Later edit: Originally, I noted here that Mom's arm was in a sling still. I think this is a clear case of editing while thinking about something else... thanks, [livejournal.com profile] laciann!]. But, at least she's getting bored enough to find stuff - like the computer - to amuse herself with.  She allowed as how it was probably a one-time thing for now.  But, at least I had all the junk cleaned out of her inbox and my brother had sent her a picture of the flowers we sent to him and she said she was glad to see that.

Ok, I guess I'll leave this game on for a while.  That girl who sang the national anthem is probably someone everyone knows but me but she did a really nice job.

Maybe I'll so some work work for a while.

That's a little drastic, isn't it?

We watched a fair amount of the game (when it got to be 34-7 we figured it was safe to leave them to their own devices and go watch The West Wing). Alas, they did not use the shot of your condo that they had last week, or if they did it was only during the first half-hour or so. I realized sometime during the third quarter that there was no point expecting to see it any more, since it had unaccountably gotten dark, even in Seattle.

So I hope you didn't waste too much energy waving.

isnt that kind of funny?
I used to live down there on 2nd and yesler and on a normal day Pioneer Square is pretty diverse. Every color in the rainbow.
But when games let out - a SEA of white people flow out of the stadiums.
weird.

Im more excited about phase 2 of the remodel than I am about the superbowl!!
