Lots of reasons

susandennisYesterday, by the time I got out of the pool, it was packed and it looked like there was going to be a fight over one lane. And two more swimmers were coming in as I left. Today, it was only 3 of us for most of the time, then 1. Fridays are often not the busiest at the gym. And it's Friday the 13th. And school is off today for a teachers day or something.
I only felt a twinge in my arm so I got in a whole swim and it was a good one. I'm happy, my tracker's happy. All's good.
I got this great sheet at the Goodwill the other day. It's 100% cotton and almost a denim. It's sooo soft. I dreamed up a shirt for it yesterday and, today while swimming, I polished off the design. A cowl collar that splits at the shoulder and fastens with snaps and is faced with a contrasting fabric which I'll also use on the cuffs. I'm quite jazzed about it. It will be today's project.
I got a call yesterday from a new Mariners sales person. The one I had originally left. I wasn't sad. Then I had an interim guy. Now I have Mike. He left a voice mail. BUT, he also sent an email so I responded immediately noting that email was much preferred. He said he'd mark that in my account! Nice start. He also said that I'd get an invoice in November which is a couple of months ahead of when Interim Guy told me but that's fine. The Diamond Club has been officially sold out for several years. I'm not even sure how I snuck in but I sure don't want to lose my spot. So now I have an official person and a paper trail. Yeah.
I have a warm kitty in my lap and so cannot get up. Now. or maybe ever. Oh well.
