susandennisSheri came and we worked down the list and it was wonderful. Once again she is The Queen of Solutions! She has ideas and ideas and ideas and ways to make them happen. We talked financial and time budget and communication. I think we are on the same page and I'm so delighted with it all.
She knows a place that she thinks can fix my chaise. Plus we can go and test the proposed fix before they fix. And we can adjust the heights so the laptop table can slide under it!!
She was ok with my idea of adding a table to eat on BUT she suggested we see if we can't make the coffee table work the way I want and need it to. She thinks we might be able to find hardware that will make it easier to raise and lower and, if so, we can adjust the height so I can really eat that like I used to at my old table.
She thinks raising the desk is easy peasy and then I can order either a regular chair mat or one of these beauties...
She's on the blinds thing. Whew. We talked remote control or no and I told her that if opening and closing them was easy to do without screwing them up, then I was fine doing it manually.
She's going to find a lighting solution for the fish bed and check on the washer/dryer deal (mine are old old old and need to be reseated in their current spot but as long as I can replace them easily and quickly if they fail, I'm ok with keeping them).
And then we went into the kitchen. 1st item is get me one of those two drawer dishwashers. New stove. New fridge. Then, for extra credit let's look into those pull out things that let you get to the junk in the back of the cupboard.
It's all good and I'm all jazzed and I think she is too. She warned me that probably nothing will happen this week and I allowed as how that is fine. We talked about communications and I think we're good.
Now I have to get back to work work!!
