There's some dude at the gym who early on sent me a text asking me how I liked it. I have no clue who he is but it's very gym'ie with the un-needed and un-wanted rah rah BUT it was sure better than LA Fitness' stringent rules of not contact whatsoever at all under any circumstances even if you were standing in front of them. So I replied that all was cool.

This morning I dug up his text and sent him one asking about the pool murk. I got a very timely response that he thought it had to do with the temperature change but he'd check with maintenance and get back to me. Very quickly, he did and said it was related to the sudden cold and keeping the water temperature temperate. He said maintenance said it should be clear by this afternoon.

1. Maintenance?! They have real maintenance?? YEAH
2. This q and a took place in under 2 hours. When I got desperate, I'd email LA Fitness management. 3 days later, I'd get a reply saying they would inform the regional manager.
3. Getting an actual ETA for a fix? So nice.

I do like this gym so much. And I haven't even seen most of it. The gym-ie stuff is all upstairs and I haven't been up there. But they do have a women only workout room which is cool.

I scored some good sheets at Goodwill but I also wanted a little table for my sergers - no go. I found one on Amazon and ordered it up. The last three things I have added to the sewing room, have been added with the pronouncement that there was no room in there. And, guess what? There is now no room at all.

So I've made that room our project for when my brother and his wife come to visit. I want us to look at what can be moved where so that it's not so crowded and everything is accessible. It's probably going to mean moving some gynormous pieces of furniture which is why I'm saving it for his visit.

All of the sheets have now been added to the fabric database. I even did some updates to the pattern database. I'm feeling very datafied.

I got some fried chicken at the grocery store for dinner and some zucchini noodles. My plan is to saute the latter with some mushrooms and onions and eat the former cold or room temp and maybe some cottage cheese. I got the checker who used to be at the now closed store. I told her it was a treat to see her and she just beamed big, clearly delighted so I was very glad I'd mentioned it. "I'm very grateful to have snagged this position" and then kind of whispering "These people here are soooo nice." It was a fun little exchange. I love that store.
