The plague continues but I don't think it's any worse. Except for one little spell, I slept very well last night and swam with vigor this morning. When I'm not coughing all is fine. So I just need to not cough. Easy peasy. I'm back to blaming the air stagnation which will end tomorrow afternoon.
I need to get gas and Diet Dr. Pepper but neither need is critical so today I might just go nowhere. There is plenty of sewing here to keep me happily occupied. Plus, I had another organizational idea for the sewing room while I was swimming this morning and I still have my data bases to finish up.
And, hopefully, with the doors closed the stagnant air won't get me!

Swimsuit question
Date: 2017-12-13 05:26 pm (UTC)I did find out my gym uses bromine instead of chlorine, if that makes a difference.
Re: Swimsuit question
Date: 2017-12-13 05:34 pm (UTC)I really don't know details on nylon vs polyester but I do know that these Krinkle suits. It's been more than 3 years since I've looked into this but at least back then swim and sweat also had the best deals on the Krinkles but lots of places carry them.

FYW I really think bromine is kinder to suits than chlorine. I know it keeps colors better :)

Date: 2017-12-13 09:32 pm (UTC)I never mastered the breathing thing and after a few episodes of swallowing water, I gave up years ago. Today I signed up for swimming lessons. (go me! And you, because you've been an inspiration.) We can't start until January because she has an ear infection. I know I'm going to want goggles and a cap. A while ago you gave me a few links to your recommendations, but of course, I can't find that post. Can you please share them with me once again?

Date: 2017-12-13 10:00 pm (UTC)My current goggles are Aqua Sphere Kaiman but they aren't the only good ones...

What you want to look for is nice, cushions around the eyes. I always thought you should look for ones that don't leak and don't fog up. Turns out none leak and they all fog up. So go for comfort. Aqua Sphere are comfortable. I also like them big. Racers and kids go for the tiniest of goggles to be cool. I am so not cool.
Congrats on the swim lesson decision. I hope you love it even half as much as I do.
