Such a better day. My cough is better and my mood is better. I still get a little fit now and then but probably not nearly the constant painful onsets of the past two weeks. My abs are finally getting a rest. And so is my underwear. Whew.

I got a lot of great sewing done. Finished a top that I really love. and started the patchwork for a different one and put together a new pattern.

I made another poke bowl for lunch and this time I think I nailed it. The trick, I think, is to not over marinate and to edit. I cubed the rest of the fish and put it in the freezer. I'm sure it's not going to taste great but it might be acceptable. We shall see. Anyway the lunch poke was goooooood.

I ordered some yarn for a new cardigan and it arrived today so I'm starting a new sweater. Should be fun. No other big plans at all. The pool opens tomorrow at 7, Sunday at 8 and not at all on Monday. So I'll swim when I can and then fill in with this and that. Turns out I have done very well with my TV show stash. I haven't even touched The Crown yet or Black Mirror. So I'll have plenty to keep me occupied and amused.

yes - really glad to read you're feeling better. I thought for a second I may need to shout out "I got dibs on the Chromebook!" ;)

I really enjoyed the Crown. The British Royalty and its function in government have always been a mystery to me. Not sure the series helped, though.

I am glad you are feeling better.

I still have the second season of The Crown to see, and as far as I know we still don't have Black Mirror here in Canada, and I would love to see it. My nephew is Charlie Brooker's PA. He loves his job, and now does some of the writing.

wow. how cool is that?! talk about inside skinny! we get Black Mirror now on Netflix. it's wild. i'm caught up except for this latest season - ditto with The Crown.

The regular TV shows tend to quiet down at this time of year, giving us a chance to catch up (we're finally getting around to watching Ken Burns's Vietnam War series).

I'm glad to hear that you're going to live.
