I took a break from sewing and walked around the block. Did not have to stop once. YEAH ME!

Then I decided to clean out the fridge. I took everything out of the freezer and organized it with like stuff together. Apparently I have a pathological fear of running out of English muffins. I can have one a day and not need to buy more for weeks. I probably should have reorg'd a little sooner.

But, then, the fridge. OMG. I took everything out. I took out all the shelves and drawers. How in the hell did I get cat hair in the refrigerator??? And that's just the gross I could identify. I am so disgusting.

I bought the fridge in 2005 and I think this was the first time I ever cleaned it totally. Gross. Just gross. And how do you get gross shit on the underside of the refrigerator shelves?????

But, it's done. All clean and shiny. All the door bins have like items grouped together as do the drawers. It looks pretty.

Now I have a large bag of used paper towels and other crap that needs to go to the dumpster. And then... back to sewing with maybe another walk around the block.

Good for you. If you have an animal living in the house, you re going to find their hair in strange places.   I clean out my fridge once a year right before my family comes over for xmas eve.  Then I just wipe down the shelves periodically to keep it semi clean.  Not a job I enjoy but I do find it rewarding when it's all said and done.

We had a meme going once here on LJ, a million years ago, where everyone opened their refrigerator and snapped a picture. As is. Just think, if we did that again, you'd win the prize for the most organized fridge!

I actually remember that. I would win today. However, last time, I got dinged for no veggies and too much Diet Dr. Pepper. That situation has changed... not at all :)

I'd clean my refrigerator more if the designers hadn't made it so that it was a total pain in the ass to clean. Tempered glass larger than my sink, FTW - NOT!

I clean the food out at least bi-monthly because I don't like random clutter in there. My mom spills everything in the fridge and doesn't clean it. It makes me crazy! The freezer only gets a go through when we are bringing home groceries from Sam's Club.
