Now my weekend days are disappearing as fast as my weekday days. This morning I got up and decided to do some work work.
I needed to get onto the corporate network. I only had partial access. And the partial that I didn't have access to, of course, was the part I needed. They've been doing some screwy stuff lately with updates and patches and so I decided to rollback to Friday morning when it all worked fine. I did. Didn't help. Reinstalled all the updates - this time in a different order and finally after sucking out 2 solid hours, it was all back working.
I spent the next 3 hours getting caught up and I did.
Then Polly called. Then Mom called. Nothing is really new. Nothing is really fixed. But there is a lot of conversation going on. Sarah was there this morning to find out what went wrong with the medicine last night and she is coming back tonight to make sure it does not happen again. I'm actually kind of impressed with this. Polly is calmed now for now.
We are having a wind storm in Seattle. Downtown here we're getting wind and rain but not so much - more gusts than anything else. They've been talking about it for a couple of days and, frankly, it's been a welcome change from what the detailed coverage of what Mike Holgren has in his pockets on game day (pocket lint). I did hear earlier that they closed one of the bridges.
I was thinking about making a library run and I might yet.
And that's the news from here... today... so far... It could get more exciting later or not but if I were you... I'd stay tuned.

I'm liking this... We need weather and sports anchors too. Be thinking. Oh and bureau chiefs for every freakin' corner...
