This joint was already open so the crowd was in side Another shot of the crowd - tv and hopefuls A building in my neighborhood.

The first one is a very small bar across the street from the stadium. They opened early so the crowd was inside.

The middle picture is of a random building in the neighborhood with 12's in the windows.

The one on the right is a bigger bar/restaurant down a half block. This picture was taken about 10 a.m. Superbowl Sunday. Note the crowds waiting to get in. Note the TV truck from Spokane. Note the signs in the building's windows...

Yawn. I wish this shit was over. God never meant football to exist past the beginning of January.

(And part of me hopes Seattle loses so the fratboys will shut the hell up and stop annoying my dogs.)

Yeah, well, I assume that your local sports sections will still spend the requisite 4 or 5 days of "Hey, what happened?"

What's the significance of the "12", by the way? I didn't ask earlier because I guessed that it was the jersey number of a well-known Seahawks star, and folks would point at me and laugh. But, having watched the game (sorry, Seahawk fans), I know that that is not the case. Well, people may point and laugh, but for some other reason.

The 12th man (meaning the fans)

Didn't really work out that way for the Seahawks, did it? (The fact that Detroit is a reasonably easy drive from Pittsburgh and rather more of a trip from Seattle might have been a factor.)
