The sun just crept into my living room and eyeballs and I said "Alexa, turn on Sun" and she lowered three blinds down half way to block it out. This is one of those things that I am so very grateful I lived long enough to experience. Really.

I just noticed a new thing on the LJ friends feed page up at the top. I'm not sure exactly what it is but it looks very much like the old /friendsfriends feed but way handier. Cool. And I found some very interesting journals. It's like the olden days!



I did go over and get beef stroganoff at 13 Coins last night. It was a much better experience than the other times I've tried the new place.

In the old 13 Coins, when you sat down you were serviced water with chipped ice in it and very simple and good crudités. At the new 13 Coins you got water, no ice and nothing else. And there were other service problems.

BUT last night, the crudités were back as well as the good service. Whew.



And the strog was perfection AND there is enough for dinner tonight.

I've got no big plans today. I'm not even sure what I'm going to do. I have plenty to pick from. One thing I thought of this morning as I was swimming was that I need to work though the 30 pounds of stuffing I have on hand. Dolls and bears and creatures need to be made and stuffed. I'm not so much into it all right now like I used to be but I am into using up the resources on hand and reclaiming some space so probably there will be some stuff made and stuffed today.

The crudites do look quite good; what is that mound that looks like salami? And wow, those bright red grape tomatoes just cry out to be in a delicious salad -- maybe a nice dressing of mango-infused balsamic, grapeseed or avocado oil and fresh herbs, depending upon rest of salad ingredients.

If you find you really have no interest or enough time for the detailed work, maybe consider stuffing some pillows for battered women's shelters and homeless people?

That would clear out the supplies a bit quicker, and likely be much appreciated.

I just noticed that on my LJ today as well.
Maybe too few people realized that the gear icon on the FF page had that all available when you clicked it?
I've noticed that now the gear icon only has the friends feed layout settings tab available. I guess they have moved everything else that had been in there onto the right sidebar now. *shrugs* I liked having more reading area, and the right sidebar has smooshed some of that away for me.... and so I am undecided on how I feel about the change just yet.

I wanna drag out my 6 year old sing song voice and sing 'I maaaaade you looooooook' but I won't.

It really is the perfect way to start the meal. Way better than a basket of bread and I love bread.
