So downloading music from the Amazon Prime Music app is a PIA like I described yesterday BUT I was so wrong about it's being worth it. It's totally worth it.

Today I swam to James Taylor and Carol King and Carly Simon. Only this time I could hear them. Outside of elevators, I probably hadn't heard any of their music since I played it on a record player in the 80's. I had never heard any of it via earbuds. It was really kind of amazing and a really fun swim.

Also it was warm enough this morning to ditch the fleece robe and wear the muumuu I made yesterday. Worked perfectly and felt less dorky. I think I'm going to have to come up with some kind of warmer version for next winter and ditch the fleece robe. I have time.

Today's baseball game is at 11. It's now 8. I think between now and first pitch, after another cup of coffee, I'm going to gather up my trash for the dumpster and take it down. And also gather up my stuff for Goodwill and take it over there. I gathered a bunch of stuff yesterday and think I can do another sweep before I go. I get an empty bag and go through the house tossing stuff in. I don't think about it, I just do it. It's the easiest, most pain free way to divorce myself from my shit. At least some of it.

Then the ballgame. Then maybe some sewing. Maybe some laundry. Maybe none of the above. Stay tuned.

I know all eras have their own charm, records & such, I mean it’s music! But OMG music on earbuds! I am now remembering when I switched from old earbuds to the new ones in the market and I couldn’t stop saying “wow,” wow, wow... was all that came out of my mouth. And just yesterday I thought the disposable earbuds provided would be good enough for a movie on a plane anyway, but soon enough I had to switch to my own.

New old music. Super fun!

I think it’s time for me to ask you about my first “swimming toy.” I love the idea of listening to music while I swim. Well, I THINK I’d like it anyway. I want one device that does it all, though. Can I listen to music and track my laps and have it talk to me informing me of how long I’ve swam? (Or swum?)

Right now I don’t use earplugs but do at night sometimes so I know they won’t bother me swimming. I just don't want to be hooked up to a multitude of devices. Any suggestions you have ... I'm all ears.

Thank you!
So ... those bone conducting ones, do you ever hear that swimmer's music if he stands next to you? I always do the steam room before and after I swim and it drives me ape-shit when someone comes in and there's that obnoxious buzz/drumbeat/ sound leaking out of his buds. It's so obnoxious.

The Delphin looks perfect but yea, I'm not sure about investing in those right now. You happy with yours? Looks like that is the only one that connects wi_fi. I'd like to connect to my Napster playlists.

Did you keep your old stuff? Interested in selling it?
