Non-delayed gratification

At my new company, I get paid twice a month. I send in my hours and a few days later, the money is in my checking account. This morning there is a lovely fat check for all those hours I worked the first 15 days of this month. Nice. Sweet. And so worth it!

Around here, a lot of work for hire is paid net 30. That's the deal I was on with the DooDoo. I'd work my 40 hours and at the end of the month, I'd send him an invoice. 30 days later (or more in his case), I'd get a check.

I like this method way better.

At my new p/t job I get paid weekly! I can't remember being paid by the week. Better yet, I will be doing the payroll.

Ha! See... that doing the payroll thing - that's the trick there. Good go!
