She passed her test!
May. 31st, 2018 12:41 pmZoey's vet called while I was out walking around the block. It's chilly out there! Anyway, she does not have diabetes or any thyroid issues. She is not even near borderline for either one! So, since she's clearly not stressed or in pain or even unhappy - as long as I don't make her get into that FUCKING carrier (her words) - I'm just going to keep and eye on her.
I just got a note from the Mariners about stuff happening in June. It's always a BFD when Boston comes to town because Boston fans come out in droves. Some come from Boston but the rest come from around here but they all come out. The crowds are just filthy with Red Sox fans. This year, the middle game of the series falls on Saturday which means more Boston fans than usual. AND... it's the Pride game! So... Rainbow Red Sox. It's going to be quite the spectacle. AND it's one of my Diamond games so I get to see it live and in person. I'm so sorry that
jwg and
rsc won't be here.
I'm all of a sudden having knee issues when climbing stairs. It's so weird. It started a couple of days ago with my right knee (I think). I climbed a step and it both hurt and felt like it was going to fail entirely. Then my left knee started doing much the same thing. Not at the same time, thankfully. There are 14 steps (steep ones) from the street level garage down to where my car is. And there are 7 steps up to the pool area at the gym. There are 4 flights of not every steep steps from parking to the gym. I can eliminate the latter pretty easily but the others are kinda critical and every day. This is concerning. I need knees.

Date: 2018-05-31 08:12 pm (UTC)Omg you’d be the perfect patient (I hope it doesn’t go that far). I want to pull the social workers’ hair every time they keep asking patients about stairs, and flights of stairs, and steps, and flights or steps? Grrrrr. But I’d give you an A, and no hair pulling at all!

Date: 2018-05-31 08:44 pm (UTC)Not only won't we be there, but we won't be able to watch the games -- we'll be in Georgia (the country, not the state).
What's weird (but not as unusual as it ought to be) is that the Mariners are in Boston the very next weekend. We won't be around for that one either.

Indeed knees are important. Must be the weather. I blame lots of issues on the weather. The knee thing is temporary just like the weather.
