Happy Monday

It is 52 degrees outside right now and cloudy drizzly. In June. 95% of this town will lose their shit over this. I am wallowing in it. I think I'll take a walk this morning maybe up to Uwajimaya and Daiso. I do not want to waste a perfectly fine outside day.

But mainly today will be a sewing day. I still have that fix to tackle from the failure last week and also now I have the new Mariners shirt to put together.

There is no Mariner game tonight but there is a home owners meeting that I'll go to for an hour.

Exciting stuff here.

I have been wanting to go to Uwajimaya and Daiso ever since you started mentioning it. I haven't been in years.

I might be able to go this weekend, but they probably have traffic shenanigans going on. It might make sense to wait until fall.

Nope. No traffic shenanigans this weekend. Next up is in July. No Mariners game either. There's a Sounders game Saturday night but they don't drive in so you'd be fine. No International District events. This is probably the best weekend.

Spend $20 or more for up to two hours of parking or $10 for one hour of parking in the Uwajimaya parking lot and Daiso is just across the street.

It's sweltering where I live. I'd love for it to be 52 degrees during the day.

I bought a little travel sewing kit about a month ago and have been meaning to sew my skirt and a fanny pack that ripped at the seams. You just inspired me.

I have lived in sweltering. I love Seattle for many reasons but near the very top is the weather.
