So, I had a lot more fabric than I thought and... it took up a lot less shelf real estate than I thought it would.

I'm not sure I love the result. I do like having it all so viewable. I am inspired by fabric and that's difficult to achieve when the fabric is in the back of a dark closet. But, I'm not sure I love having it as my entryway. Plus keeping it tidy is going to be an issue. Maybe. Same pic, different angles.

I have a nice bag of stuff that is really perfect for Goodwill. I actually need to add more and I will. And I didn't have to sacrifice any treasures. So that's a win.

But, the big win is my closet. Actually two closets. SPACE in the closets. Be still my heart.

I'm thinking that the smart money would be for me to pretend I'm moving into the 'home' and start paring down my stuff. I have large kitchen bags. My goal would be to fill one a week. I'm pretty sure I could do that easily. Mondays. On Mondays, I will start the day by filling a bag of stuff from this house and setting it aside for Goodwill or the trash. At least a bag. On Mondays. I can do that! Starting tomorrow.

BUT the thing I did not toss out - that spot cleaner? Spot on. The orange chair is saved!! It looks amazing. The cleaner spouts water/cleaning solution (I used white vinegar) out the brush while you scrub and then sucks the water back into the return tank. I don't even want to think about how disgustingly filthy that return water as. But the chair looks wonderful. SAVE!!

More to do but not today. All that bending and stooping and folding and moving has dun wore me out! I'm declaring the rest of the day a tv day. Netflix is calling me.

It looks like a really useful way to keep all your fabrics where you can see them and access them. And hurrah! for the spot cleaner :)

I feel like I walked into a fabric store! Oh nostalgia!

Looks excellent! And it reminds me that my 200 or so T-shirts hanging in the bedroom closet has become a big PIA putting them back after I wear/wash them. Needs a new arrangement, but I have no clue what that needs to be.

I was going to say you could hang curtains over your shelves but that defeats the object by hiding the fabric again
