susandennisSomeone on my friends list in the past few days reported that someone on their friends list was hit by a flying turkey.
No names were mentioned and it was a brief mentioned so I just kind of thought maybe 'hit by a flying turkey' was some kind of euphemism that I wasn't clued in on. I mean really, hit by a flying turkey.
It did not cross my mind for one minute that they meant that literally.
So I did not for one minute think it was actually one of my LJ friends!

roadskoller was, in fact, Hit By a Fucking Flying Turkey!!! And it did real damage - like requiring surgery type damage! I sure hope she gets better fast. Note self: Get some clues.

And, in a freaky coinkidink, I was just in jimcarson.com trying to come up with some kind of comment that was the perfect mix of sympathy and wit and humor. I was just before coming after you - adding to your pile of unhandled email - because there had been no peep from you for a while.
As it turns out, I bailed cause everything I wrote sounded like a sad hybrid between lame and looser.
Of course, I have no prob being lame and looser here so you sound like you are surrounded by a funk, dude. Let's shake it off, k?
