It's come to this

I am watching a soccer game on TV. Never thought that would happen. On the up side, it's for a prescribed time and there won't be extra innings. And the two teams have easily distinguishable outfits. And the soccer ball is pretty.

We have pretty much done nothing this morning. Companionably on our individual devices. I've sofa shopping - casually. He's playing a lot of bridge, I think.

After the game we're heading downtown to go see the Amazon Go store - the one where you don't check out - just grab and go. Then we'll find lunch somewhere. Then who knows? No agenda. Just enjoying each other's company. It's really nice.

Which usually takes around three hours, but sometimes might take five or six (and in rare cases might happen in under 2½).

They went 6 minutes over the prescribed time, almost made me late for lunch. :-)
