Redecorating Part Deux

susandennisI was thinking this morning that I wish Sheri would send me an update. I hate to have to send her yet another 'what's happening and when will I hear anything' note.
No worries. Before I could even get that far down on my own todo list, here comes a note from her!!
She has all my appliances scoped out and ready to order!! It's going to take 4-6 weeks to get them... Don't they have them on the shelves??!! Why does it take so long?! And yeah I get that I am the same person who last night was shocked to discover that 2010 was only 4 years away. There's nothing wrong with irony.
Anyway.. she says she thinks she's found the hinge that will enable my coffee table to once, again, serve as my dining table and so keep me from having to add another piece of furniture to the room.
And she has pricing on my new blinds.
Yipee. She said she has a meeting this morning and will get me the info as soon as she gets done. And she has it fixed so I can charge at least the appliances on my Discover Card... love that cash back bonus!
The local Fox news weather guy at 10 last night said we would have snow today. It's 48 degrees on my terrace according to my thermometer. And dry as a bone. I think I'll hold off on the trip to Home Depot to buy a snow shovel. Besides the local ABC weather guy at 11 did not mention the s word.
And that's what I've got so far today. But, the day is young so check back later...

I read my friends page religiously but I also often read comments on people's entries, which takes me to their journal's layout design. I saw this new look on yours and thought it was broken. Guess I was wrong . . .

Ah! Still minimal, but now it looks like you actually meant it to look this way. Works for me!
Every once in a while I think about changing my layout but it always seems like more work than it's worth. I realize that may not involve very much actual work at all, but, well, I guess I'm lazy.
