Chores done. Even the litter box which was just gross. But now it is sparkling clean with all new litter and a fresh smell. Ahhhhhhhhh.

Then on to Costco. It was pretty darned crowded but since I was only there for the walk, no biggie. I did, of course, not get out scott free but I didn't go nuts. Pork chops, slider zip lock bags, soy sauce and something called Salad Toppers - roasted seeds and dried cranberries. They looked nice and crunchy.

When I got home, I dished out some of yesterday's Asian pasta salad and sprinkled it with a lovely helpling of those Salad Toppers and WINNER!

When I got to Costco, I parked in the back of the farthest lot. I always park there. I can find a spot next to a cart corral and I don't have to fight the fools who Will Just Die if they don't get a spot near the door and the walk in and out is usually pleasant. And it was today. Nice and cool and just lovely. The air may still suck but it sure looks cleaner.

But when I got to the door, I was hit with a blast of very hot air. They had the door heaters on!! It was nice and cool but not that cool. Holy crap.

For years and years and years I have had only one bumper sticker on my car. Centered on the back bumper is this:

I don't remember anyone ever saying anything about it. Today when I got back to my car, the guy parked next to me was just back to his and he stopped and smiled and said "I sure do like your bumper sticker. Thank you." It was sweet and nice.

Now it's time for the final episode of Five Days. Wikipedia just informed me that I'm watching the second series and HBO has the first one. Snap. I just cancelled HBO. Oh well, something else will come along that will make me get it back and I'll watch it then. HBO is one of the producers of the series so they'll likely still have it. I hope. Anyway, I need to get back to Series 2 and find out what happens to these people!
