Successful day so far

The terrace ceiling guys were in and done by 9. The house cleaner came and, for some reason, spent a lot more time than usual and her efforts really show. And she brought me a delightful Christmas present.



Yarn and chocolate. What's not to love??!!!

My errands were all very successful. At Goodwill, I found the most fun sheet. This will be a great shirt.



Also I scored this very cool long, narrow, mesh bin that is exactly what I needed for the cables that I need to charge stuff like my watch and headphones and swim music player. I used plain black elastic to attach it to my laptop table. It's perfect!



This morning they made the official announcement that the Mariners stadium - Safeco Field is now T-Mobile Park. I'm totally fine with that.

isn't it? she used to give me dust collectors that I never really enjoyed or liked but felt like I had to display. then last year she started with this kind of thing which I dearly love - it's so perfect and so thoughtful and so useful. I just 'used' one of the chocolate bars!

Typo for "now"?

I will be seriously upset if the Red Sox ever sell the naming rights to Fenway Park. It drives me nuts that these stadiums have to change names whenever the naming-rights holder changes hands (the Giants' ballpark had something like four names in its first ten years). And they should all take warning from what happened in Houston (remember Enron Field?).

Yes on the typo. NoW. I'd forgotten about Enron Field. Ohhhh what a booboo that was.

I agree and wish they would name it after something meaningful BUT I'm also glad they can get $$ from places other than my ticket price. And I'm very glad to see Safeco gone. Plus, glad to see T-Mobile. I like the magenta. It's also been interesting to see baseball people leaving tweets and comments about what a good company T-Mobile is to its community, to women and to employees in general. But Safeco's still up there over the front door as of this morning.
