I cannot believe I fell for this again!!!

Last year Sheri hired this guy named John to build my shelves (and do a lot of other stuff). He's a nice guy but he took about 3 times longer than he said he would. He sometimes showed up when he said he would and sometimes not. I was very glad when he finished and I did not have to deal with him any more.

So... now I need this hardware installed in my table to make the top rise and lower. Sheri hires John. John specifically asks if 7 a.m. is too early on Friday to come. "No! I say... 7 a.m. would be great."

It is now 7:45. No word from him. No sign of him. I have no way to contact him directly. Sheri's not answering her cellphone. Sheri's not answering her land line. No response to email.

Am I spitting nails? Gimme one of those nail strips you use in nail guns and I'll show you some fine spitting of nails - back away first, k?

Well, this is Friday. Thursday is in 6 more days.... Or else he's REALLY late from yesterday?
