An update to the updated update

It feels like this snow is going backwards. My terrace faces east and most weather - rain, wind and the last snow - comes from the north to the south if it'snot just straight down. Today is going from the south to the north. Are they doing it wrong?

It's now 1:55 and Google traffic maps + Twitter says everyone is going home RIGHT NOW. The streets are clogged and the busses are full.

I finished the yellow cabinet. And I'm happy with it. The more of these tiny things I do, the smarter I get at doing them so the doing of them is not nearly as frustrating as it was. I'm enjoying this kit most of all.

Have fun with the snow. We got our share here a week ago along with -55 degree temps. Had two and a half days off work. Which was fun. Felt like a kid with no school! Fortunately it almost all melted and the sidewalks are clear now. Please don’t send it over here!

So fun! What goes into the making of the things that go on the shelves? For example the basket and it's contents or the linens.

Your little house building reminds me that when I was around 12 a hobby was buying glue-it-together military airplane kits. I was not very good at lining things up, insignia usually was off-center at best and there was as much glue outside the seams as inside. I think what finally cured me was when someone bought me an aircraft carrier kit.

My husband worked from home today instead of going into the office in South Lake Union. He's been very happy with that decision!

I've not done any of my kit this weekend, just not been in the mood. I enjoyed the furniture but I've got lots and lots of paper folding and sticking to go and it isn't floating my boat

i hit that wall once and just let it be. at one point i packed it all up and put it in the closet. then one day, i got my fiddly back and started the tiny bits and found them even more satisfying than the furniture. or maybe, turns out, not your thing. either way, i get it :)
