Bad start

It looks like the first baseball game of the season (Spring Training) will be rained out and likely the one tomorrow, too. Not sure what the ground hog of baseball seasons has to say about that. With the Mariners, though, I've never found a rule.

If they do great in Spring Training, they have a losing year. If they suck in Spring Training, they have a losing year. If their commercials are great, they have a losing year. If their commercials fall short, they have a losing year. They've been playing baseball for more than 40 years and most of them have been losing. They are the only team in Major League Baseball that has never played in a World Series.

And, yet, how do I feel about this year of Mariner baseball??? It could happen. This could be the year. It probably isn't and it probably won't but, hey, we haven't lost any games so far this year so YEAH!!!

The washer/dryer delivery window is 9:30 to 11:30. I'm not ready but it's only 8:30.

I think I'm going to try and finish the latest tiny project today.

But, first, I think I'll get dressed.

I didn't realize the Mariners have never been in the world series.

I hope the washer/dryer install is quick and painless.

40 years? That kind of makes me feel old. I remember my uncle being incredibly excited about having a baseball team to root for and taking me to games when I stayed with him during the summer when I was in high school. I think they lost all of the games I went to.
